Learn from mistakes

Well tonight, we went to Wal*Mart, and I forgot my coupons! I was pretty dissapointed when I got there and realized I had forgotten. I had to put off making a couple purchases because of this and I wasn't very happy. But hey, I'm pretty sure I learned my lesson:)

I will post pictures as soon as I can, but right now I'm pleased. I actually have coupons in my Poppy Fields Organizer. I love feeling somewhat in control!

The Beginning

Well today is Sunday, which means.....SUNDAY ads and coupons:) Yesterday, I bought my first coupon organizer:) It is actually just a 12 pocket adorable Vera Bradley organizer :) I love it, and it's the perfect thing to get me started!

Now, don't think I went out and spent ridiculous ammounts of money on some Vera. That wouldn't have been a very good way to start off my new way of living. Instead I found it 50% off, so I spent less the 7 dollars! What a steal :)

When I get off here I'm going to curl up in bed with coupons, my new organizer, and a House MD marathon. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday evening!

God will provide joy through everything, He is all I need!

Thrifty:)

You might ask why I'm writing about this. I'm a teenage girl, why am I trying to be thrifty? My life is changing, and I have always been interested in couponing, being thrifty, frugal whatever you want to call it. But it's interesting to me to see justhow much money I can save:) My family ( my mother sister and I ) are on a new adventure and that adventure includes much less money than we had before. So I decided I would help out, and use my thriftiness for good. So now, I'm couponing. Well, I will be! I'm getting started and researching researching researching. This is to help keep me accountable and to maybe help out some of you:)
